In 2024 the Australian Government Announced the Early Childhood Education and Care Workers Retention Payment Grant. The program is expected to run from 2 December 2024 to 30 November 2026. The Grant provides for a retention allowance to be paid to eligible staff by employers who have been approved to participate by the Department of Education.
