Tenth Anniversary of Episcopal Ordination
 
The Most Reverend Geoffrey Hylton Jarrett DD, Bishop of Lismore
 
A Concelebrated Mass of Thanksgiving to mark the tenth anniversary of Bishop Geoffrey Jarrett as Bishop of the Diocese of Lismore will take place in St Carthages Cathedral on Tuesday 22nd February at 11am.
 
On the 9th December 2000, Reverend Geoffrey Jarrett, a priest of the Hobart Archdiocese, was appointed Coadjutor Bishop of Lismore by Pope John Paul II. His Episcopal Ordination took place on the 22nd February 2001
 
Bishop Jarrett became the fifth Bishop of Lismore on the 1st December 2001, when the resignation of Bishop John Satterthwaite was accepted, having reached the age limit of 75 years.
 
Clergy from throughout the Diocese will be in attendance and parishioners and the public are welcome to attend the Mass.
